Maitland Art & Craft Fair Spring 2009

This Art and Craft Fair is a must with over 50 stalls to browse over and buy a bargain. There will be plenty of children's activities to amuse them for hours from face painting to a matinee movie - a great family outing. When hunger strikes there will be plenty to choose from - a barbecue or maybe some donuts and a cappuccino to tempt the taste buds.
For a great day out visit the Heart of Maitland Complex, Robert Street, Maitland, consisting of the Town Hall, Chatt Centre, Maitland Markets, Maitland Shed and the car park that joins the buildings, this area has had a major redeveloped with paving throughout and two Rotunda's erected and an outdoor decking area and beautiful landscaping.

City of Onkaparinga Christmas Pageant
This year's pageant will be held on Saturday 21 November commencing at 10am.This is a FREE event.
The pageant will begin at Hunt Crescent/Beach Road, Christies Beach and finish at The Esplanade, Christies Beach.
Come along and see Father Christmas and his helpers.
Please remember to wear a hat, and sunscreen and bring a bottle of water.
Dogs are welcome but must be kept on a leash.
Come and see schools, churches, community and other organisations, bands and cultural groups join in and have fun as we celebrate this years theme-Strong Vibrant Communities. Come and see bold and creative colour, costumes and decorations. This is a demonstration of the many diverse organisations and communities that make our city such a great place to live and work.

West Beach Lions Club are participating in the Cord Blood Foundation Grocery Grab starting on the 31st October. The prize a $300 Grocery Voucher from Woolworths Supermarket .
Tickets go on sale on for $1.00 each on the 31st October and are available every saturday through to November 28th at West Lakes Shopping Centre. Draw will take place at Woolworths West Lakes 1pm on Saturday the 28th.Money raised goes to the cord blood foundation for storage of much needed cord blood. Umbilical Cord Blood transplantation is an exciting new development that can save the life of children with leukaemia and other life threatening illnesses. The cost of retrieval, testing and storage of a single successful cord is $1500+. so come on Adelaide help us raise as much as we can by buying a ticket and supporting the Lions Cord Blood Foundation.
