    Damien Leith has announced a national Keys & Strings tour, a show that will see Leith on piano and guitar, accompanied by violin and tin whistle. Leith will perform songs from all his number one albums, including his latest critically acclaimed album Remember June, which features the single To Get To You and the brand new single Forgive Forget, which will be serviced to radio on February 8th. The live show will also feature well-known Irish songs that have inspired Leith musically.

    Damien Leith first landed on the Australian music scene when he appeared on and subsequently won the fourth series of Australian Idol in 2006. Since winning Idol, Leith has continued to captivate audiences with his pop ballads and endearing personality with his hit albums The Winners Journey, Where We Land and Catch The Wind: Songs Of A Generation. To date, Leith has sold over six times platinum, won five ARIA Awards, had two number one albums, been nominated for two MTV Australia Video Music Awards and a Helpmann Award. In 2008 Leith also hosted the Network Ten series Saving Kids.

    COMBINED PRE-NATIONALS CONCERT:

    The City of Holdfast Bay Concert Band, Marion City Band and Warriparinga Brass Band are coming together to provide a challenging but entertaining concert before they all head over to Hobart, Tasmania for the National Band Championships at Easter.

    Come and here these fantastic bands each play their 4 competition pieces providing a varied program of hymns, marches, technically exacting works and entertaining pieces.

    Date: Sunday 28th March 2010
    Location: St Andrews Uniting Church, Jetty Road, Glenelg.
    Time: 2:00 - 4:00pm (possibly later).
    Cost: Gold Coin Donation plus raffle tickets and drinks for purchase.
