    NORWOOD CHRISTMAS PAGEANT
    SATURDAY 28TH NOVEMBER

The Pageant, now in its 32nd year, is regarded as one of Adelaide's most popular and authentic community pageants.

On a sunny Saturday morning in late November each year, more than 10,000 people line the street and spill out of the cafes along The Parade, Norwood, to watch as the annual Norwood Christmas Pageant meanders by.

This year, the fun begins at 9.15am with acrobats, magicians, clowns, stilt walkers and puppeteers and then the pageant itself starts at 10am with over 100 entries, including marching bands, dance groups, walking groups, cartoon/fairyland characters, novelty vehicles and Christmas floats travelling the Parade Route through to approximately 11am.

Don't forget to bring your chalk to decorate the road before the Pageant begins and kids can get right up close to Pageant floats and to Santa!

Why not have breakfast on The Parade and be in the area for a birds eye view. The 2009 Norwood Christmas Pageant has something to offer everyone and will delight all ages!

    2009 Norwood Christmas Pageant
The 2009 Pageant will be held on Saturday 28 November from 10.00am, and will travel east toward the hills the length of The Parade, leaving from Norwood Oval and turning left into Queen Street. Then finishing just before the Cnr of Queen St and Beulah Road.
