Pink concert info

Pink is one of the few artists to make the transition from teen pop act to respected artist.

Born Alecia Moore in 1979, the Philidelphia-born, self-confessed tomboy got her cred by infusing pop with a sexy punk attitude.

Her debut album, Can't Take me Home, was released in 2000 and saw her tour with boy bands like NSync, however this led to calls she was just another teen act.

Her next album, the aptly-titled Misundastood (2001) boasted a rockier sound. Savvy as always Pink recruited ex-4 Non Blondes singer Linda Perry to help co-write the songs and added extra muscle by getting Steven Tyler and Bon Jovi’s Richie Sambora to guest on the album.

Albums Try This (2003) and I'm Not Dead continued moving in a rock orientated direction. As a result, 2008's Funhouse has been her biggest album to date.

5 Things You Didn't Know About Pink:
1. She was the official voice of NBC Sunday Night Football (2006).
2. Angered Australian government by fronting a campaign against the country’s wool industry.
3. in 2006 She put a spell on motocross racer and former hubby Carey Hart to ensure he was devoted to her for the rest of her life. They broke up two-years later.
