Faith No More made a triumphant return to live performing last night with a warm-up show in a London club ahead of a series of big festival performances.
“We’d like to thank you, for coming to visit us again after 11 f**king years,” singer Mike Patton told the crowd with the few words he spoke all show. “It’s good to be back!”
With that, the band tore through a typically-bizarro 24-song set of utter FNM classics [“The Real Thing”, “Epic”, “Easy”] mixed in with some wacko covers, including the Bee Gees’ “I Started A Joke” and the theme from Chariots Of Fire. [And yes, before any of you smartarses say anything, we are very well aware that “Easy” is a cover too!]
Faith No More is set to headline the huge three-day Download Festival in London this weekend alongside Slipknot and – God help us! – Def Leppard.
Hands up who wants to see Faith No More tour Australia?

Yes please.
To see the boys back causing havoc on stages across oz would be a sight to behold.
Faith No More are one of the last crazy mainstream rock bands in the world.

They would be an awesome band to see Live.
Fantomas and Peepin Tom have been great shows with Mike, but to see him fronting Faith No More again LIVE would be spectacular.
