Pearl Jam Gets It Own Beer To Celebrate Twentieth Anniversary Post by: Madame H 11 October, 2011 - 8:55 AM

Pearl Jam Get Beer

It's not exactly the award they were expecting but Pearl Jam have now got their own beer to celebrate their twentieth anniversary.

"Faithfull Ale" brew has been dedicated to the band by the suitably-named 'Dogfish Head' brewery who also create such masterpieces as the Miles Davis-inspired Bitches Brew and the Robert Johnson-inspired Hellhound on My Ale.

The company describe the beer as a "Belgian-style golden ale that is delicately hopped to 20 IBUs and fruit-forward from 10 incremental additions of black currants over a one-hour boil."

Coming in at 7% alcohol it certainly is rock-worthy and will be available to order from mid-October.

It's been a bumper year for rock beverages - AC/DC's range of wine has also proved a big hit!

Which bands would you like to see commemorated on a bottle of beer?
