It's official. Following much rumour and speculation, JD Fortune has been replaced as the frontman of INXS with Irish singer, Ciaran Gribbin.

INXS unveiled their new frontman this morning via an official press release and we have to say the guy definitely has the musical chops and the incredible voice to go with the look. Ciaran Gribbin is his name. He's from Belfast, has a Grammy nomination under his belt and has worked with superstars like Paul McCartney and Snow Patrol.

Andrew Farriss said he "felt magic" again when writing "Tiny Summer" with Gribbin (which you can hear above as a demo supplied by the band).

"I'm currently writing more songs for INXS with Gribbin, and we as a band hope to share more new music with you all as soon as possible," Farriss said in a statement.

Ciaran added: "It's all so amazing and sometimes overwhelming, especially when I look up and see that my writing partner is one of the greatest songwriters of our time."
