Rick Brewster's Angels Featuring Dave Gleeson played their second and final showcase gig in Adelaide last night and it went off!

Triple M Adelaide's Mel Andersen was there to witness the magic at the Norwood Hotel and said it was pub rock at it's best.

"John and Rick Brewster sure can play the s**t out of the guitar," she said. "And Dave 'Gleeson' Gleeson gave his sweaty all to fans tonight and they knew every word."

The Brewster brothers alongside Chris Bailey from The Angels enlisted The Screaming Jets frontman to bring new blood to classic Angels tracks and it didn't disappoint.

"Pub rock is alive and well in Australia with "No Secrets" one of the many singalong faves. It doesn't matter who's out front of The Angels. They're one amazing Aussie band!"

The band have just released their new single out, "Waiting For The Sun", which is from a forthcoming EP.

  The best show I have ever seen. I was lucky to get a ticket, at least 300 people where turned away.
  Gleeson was unbelievable, I hope he gets to play more shows with this band.

  Unfortunatly I didn't get to this gig, but I've been Angels fan for 30 years! I was lucky enough to spend some time with them last year, great guys! Dave Gleeson has the perfect voice to replace .....well lets just say "It's just what the Doctor ordered!"
