Slash: GN'R Reunion Would Be Fun Post by: Dave-O 1 November, 2010 - 9:19 AM

Slash has talked about whether he could see a Guns N' Roses reunion following Duff's recent gig with Axl Rose.

"If everybody wanted to do it, it seems like it would be a lot of fun to do," the ex-Gunners guitarist told New York's Q104.3 FM. "It seems like a simple idea and there's a ton of fans that would love to see it. It'd be cool."

But Slash went on to say that a lot of things about the way the band go about things would have to change before a reunion could ever happen.

"We'd have to do things differently than we did in '93 and I don't think that's changeable," he admitted. "That whole production would have to tighten up and be like a real working band, and I don't think that's salvageable."

Slash thought it was really cool that ex-Gunners bassist Duff played with Axl last week at London's O2 Arena, but he doesn't think that means that Axl has changed his ways.

"[Duff told me it was great, everything was very cool. [But] I know that they still ended up going on an hour late. And I was, like, 'Oooh.' That's the only part that would have left a bad taste in my mouth."

GNFNR i had the privilege to see the original line up in Melbourne 20 years ago. What else can I say they, were the gods of dirty rock n roll, the most influential band that dominated the world music stage throughout my teenage years. To this day i still follow everything that each member is doing.
