It's obviously every kid’s dream to meet their rock idols.

That dream recently came true for a six-year-old boy named Hendrix when he got to meet AC/DC during their triumphant Wembley Stadium show in London.

The meeting was organised by the Make-A-Wish foundation.

The story goes that Hendrix, who suffers from leukemia, became an Acca Dacca fan at the age of three. Nurses tried to calm him during a bone marrow transplant by playing classical music, but it turned out that only the dulcet tones of AC/DC actually worked on him.

Before the Wembley show, Hendrix was taken backstage where he was greeted by the whole band and presented with a goodie bag, which included a signed miniature guitar.

“Tonight has been fantastic for Hendrix and just to see him so happy means everything,” said the boy’s father. “He has met his heroes and this will be something he will never forget.”.

Aww, good on ya, lads!

Does this story make you feel all warm on the inside?
