Michael Jackson Is Dead At 50 Post by: Triple M Music 26 June, 2009 - 8:26 AM

Celeb website TMZ broke news that the pop legend Michael Jackson had suffered a heart attack at his LA home.

They say he wasn't breathing when paramedics arrived and CPR was performed on the way to hospital. He was pronounced dead on arrival at hospital.

He'd been in training with former Incredible Hulk Lou Ferrigno ahead of an upcoming sold-out concert tour of London.

The 50 year-old had said he wanted his three kids to see him perform live.

The Prince of pop started singing with the Jackson 5 as a five-year-old before going solo.

His 1982 album Thriller is still the highest selling album of all time.

How will he be remembered? Leave your tributes here.

Yes it's a sad day for all musicians with the passing overnight of the 80s King of Pop, Michael Jackson.

It's a shame for him to go like this and leave us all in shock, but I seem to think it was his nerves and the concerns he had, not only with his upcoming gigs but with his life in general.

Did he die an innocent man or did he die with untold guilt? I will never know. Anyway he did and yes i am extremely sad otherwise i wouldn't be writing.

I had a bike and a subsequent car accident. I'm a chronic depression sufferer, was before the first accident and still are, and it took two accidents to work it out.

My point is, Michael more than likely just freaked out and collapsed onto the floor. Who knows?

My thoughts and prayers are not only for the entire Jackson family but for Micheal himself. "Bring back the Moonwalk!"

    Regards!
    Graeme Holmes.

RIP MJ - it is a very sad day for those of us who grew up with Michael Jackson. Thanks MMM for playing all his hits today.

And for those of you who think it is fun to send out emails ALREADY - you should all pull your bloody heads in!

He has only just passed away a few hours ago - have some respect.

But probably those of you who think it is funny to send out emails have no hearts/souls/respect anyway....

I was devastated to hear of MIchael's death.

He was unique in is own right. The KING of POP.

I have a "Best of his hits" in my car which my 9 year old son Nicholas knows all the songs and even some of his dance moves.

He made comment this morning to me when we heard he was taken to hospital that his concerts may be in jeopordy and my son wanted to know if we could go and see him in concert.

    This will never happen now.

    Rest in Peace!

I am still in shock and devastated at the news. The world has lost a wonderful entertainer and genius.

I grew up idolizing him ever since I can remember and feel honoured to have been able to meet him, see his concerts and get his autograph.

I feel like I have just lost a family member and a part of me will be empty forever.

He made such a difference in my life and I just hope that he is now remembered as a beautiful caring person and humanitarian and that he finally gets the respect he deserves.

My love and thoughts go out to other fans around the world, his children and family.

I will always love and support you Michael and will do everything I can to ensure that your legacy lives on in everyone.

May you now finally rest in peace xxx

All my prayers and sympathy goes to his children and family at this time of great loss. Having lost a child of my own I know what emptiness his mother and father will be feeling. Rest in peace.
