Going by your feedback on this blog all this year, if there’s one reunion tour you want to see come to OZ, it’s Faith No More. Well, you little punks – you’ve got it!

The organisers of the Soundwave festival have revealed their bill for next year’s shows and heading the list in the one and only Faith No More.

And they’ll be backed by an all hard-rockin’ line-up including My Chemical Romance, AFI, Paramore, Anvil and Jane’s Addiction [if they don’t decide to pull out again the day before the tour starts!].

The Soundwave festival will visit five cities next year, starting off in Brisbane on February 20 and winding up in Perth on March 1. What a way to see out summer 2010.

February 20 – RNA Showgrounds, Brisbane
February 21—Eastern Creek Raceway, Sydney
February 26 – Showgrounds, Melbourne
February 27 – Bonython Park, Adelaide
March 1 – Steel Blue Oval, Perth

  Great news. Note the 5 day gap between Syd and Melb - hopefully a solo show in Syd. It took too long to get booze at Soundwave last year.

  Last time I saw them at Olympic Park, I got hypothermia. At least this concert is earlier in the year. Bin waiting a long time for this.

  Freakin' awesome news. Don't really want to do Soundwave but I will if I have to. Hopefully they will play a sideshow in Melbourne. The line-up is looking pretty sweet though.
  

  Although Jane's Addiction, make that Girl's Addiction or Gay's Addiction can kiss my arse after bailing on their last tour - weak!!
  

  Maybe Soundwave offered them more money to play - after all, Dave needs to keep his way-too-tight leather pants well stocked.
