BREAKING | Domestic-Related Triple Shooting On QLD's Fraser Coast

UPDATE 11.30am: Police have issued a fresh statement, confirming three people have died in a domestic-related shooting. 

Police will prepare a report for the coroner following the deaths of three people at Booral this morning.

The deaths of two women, aged 50 and 68 are being treated as suspicious and the death of a 79-year-old man as non-suspicious.

Police located the body of the 50-year-old woman at the Riverheads Road home around 6.40am.

The 68-year-old woman and the 79-year-old man- who had been transported to hospital in a critical condition- passed away in hospital.

Police investigations are continuing.

UPDATE 9am: Police have confirmed two women, aged 68 and 50, have died while a 79 year old man is in a critical condition after a domestic shooting on the Fraser Coast. 

Detectives are still at the home, after being called out at around 6.40am. 

"Preliminary inquiries indicate the incident was domestic-related with no one else believed to be involved."

"A firearm has been located and police have commenced forensic examinations at the property."

EARLIER: Queensland Police say three people have been critically injured in a shooting incident at a home in Booral, near Hervey Bay. 

Emergency crews were called to a house on River Heads Road at around 6.40am.

Police say a man and 2 women have been hurt. 

Queensland Ambulance crews treated three patients. Two of them - their genders and ages are not yet known - have been taken to Hervey Bay Hospital in a critical condition.
