Man Found Guilty Of 1983 Murder Of SA Schoolgirl Louise Bell
Judge: "I want to bring this whole ghastly thing to an end"
Just in this afternoon, Dieter Pfennig has been found GUILTY of murdering Louise Bell in 1983. The verdict was delivered in the South Australian Supreme Court a short time ago.
Over 30 years ago, Louise Bell was abducted from her bedroom in her Hackam West home. Her body still has not been found.
The judge said, “if he could tell the authorities where the bodies of Louise Bell & Michael Black are, that may or may not affect my sentence.”
68-year-old Pfennig was convicted of killing another child, 10-year-old Michael Black, in 1989. He was in jail when he was arrested for Louise’s murder.
The sentencing was delivered by the judge in front of a full court.
The judge also said, "I want to bring this whole ghastly thing to an end”.
More information to come.
