Violent Car-Jacking In Adelaide's Northern Suburbs

A man's been assaulted during a car-jacking at Salisbury last night.

He pulled up behind a stopped car at Waterloo Corner Rd around 9.30 when two guys pounced.

They took off with his Toyota Corolla which Police later found dumped at Gawler around 3am following a short pursuit.

Shortly after, a 1988 Holden was reported stolen nearby.

The two men remain on the run.

One had a dark complexion and was wearing a red hoodie while the other is described as of Caucasian appearance wearing a grey hoodie and light grey pants.

It comes with a reminder to lock your car doors, particularly at traffic lights or when coming to a stop.
