Here's what Ali cooked for the Crabtrees!Quick Shepherd's Pie
Serves 4 Preparation: 10 mins Cooking: 25 mins
Ingredients:
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 medium brown onion (chopped)
1 medium carrot (chopped finely)
1 celery stick (chopped finely)
1 kilogram lamb mince
Quarter cup plain flour
1 and 1/2 cups beef stock
Half cup of BBQ sauce
Half cup tomato sauce
Half cup frozen peas
2x 475g tubs prepared mashed potato
1 cup grated cheddar cheese
Instructions:
1 Heat oil in large saucepan. Cook onion, carrot and celery, stirring until softened and browned lightly. Add mince, cook, breaking apart with the back of a wooden spoon for about 5 mins or until well browned. Add flour, cook, stirring 2 mins. Gradually stir in the stock then sauces and peas. Simmer, uncovered, for about 10 mins or until sauce thickens.
2 Meanwhile, back at the ranch, place potato in medium microwave safe bowl, heat on high (100 percent) for 2-3 mins or until heated through. Whisk until smooth.
3 Preheat grill
4 Spoon lamb mixture into a large oven-proof dish, spread potato over hot lamb mixture and sprinkle with cheese. Place dish under grill until topping is browned lightly.
Ali didn't use prepared mashed potato - she made her own! And obviously she had to increase the quantities to feed the Crabtrees!

Cook sausages and cut into little piece,
Boil pasta and drain,
Cook some mixed vegetables (peas, carrots, corn, sometimes brocolli & cauliflour too)
mix them all together and serve.
SNAG VEG PASTA
polishes it off everytime.
Best part is you can change the sausage to chicken or steak and still gets eaten
