The Healthy Life Expo
The Healthy Life Expo has come alive with lots of fun and activities at the Modbury Triangle Shopping centre on the 7th and 8th of October. The Kozmik Kapers show makes an appearance as well as Humphrey B Bear. The kids can grab a free balloon or have their face painted.

'Fighting Kokoda' Fundraising Dinner
The 'Fighting Kokoda' Project is a group of committed individuals including firefighters, hiking the Kokoda Trail in October 2008 to raise money for a devastated community in southern Sudan. The aim of the project is to raise $50,000 for a community called Malony, in an area ravaged by civil war. The 'Fighting Kokoda' group is made up of 14 individuals who are paying their own way, carrying their own gear and filming a documentary of the famous hike from Owers Corner to Kokoda in Papua New Guinea.
