Justin Hamilton is one of the most in demand stand up comedians working the Australian Comedy Scene today.
2007 is off to a pretty impressive start for Justin. His Melbourne Comedy Festival offering 3 Colours Hammo received the support of the Moosehead Award, a grant that encourages and nurtures innovative comedy.
The ambitious offering saw Justin presenting three different shows across the four-week festival. The show was applauded by industry and audiences alike and was both a popular and deserving winner of the Festival Director's Award.
Justin has consistently sold out solo seasons at the Adelaide Fringe and Melbourne Comedy Festival, has been a regular on the Melbourne Comedy Festival Roadshow for the last five years, and the support act on Wil Anderson's national tours for the last two years.
Justin started performing stand up in his hometown of Adelaide in 2000 and very quickly established himself as one of the most exciting new talents on the scene. A move to Melbourne, the Australian comedy capital, soon followed and Justin is now one of the busiest stand ups in the country.
He can be heard from 4pm each week on the Wil & Lehmo show on the Triple M Network with his weekly segment Hammo Time with Justin Hamilton.
