Adelaide Oval to become "best place in Australia to watch sport".

SACA members voted 80% in favour to bring AFL and Australian Cricket code together at Adelaide Oval.

A total of 12,539 of SACA’s 19,203 eligible members took part in the vote.

Under SACA’s Constitution, 75 per cent of those who voted were required to vote in favour for the development to be passed.

Tredders from the Hot Breakfast spoke to the CEO of AFL Andrew Demetriou and asks “In 2014 could we lock in a showdown for round one?”

“If they could get this up, the first game will be a Friday night Showdown at Adelaide Oval.” said Andrew Demetriou.

Adelaide will have the most modern sporting venue in the country with world-class facilities in the best location in any capital city.
