A deal of a life time, or lifeline, has apparently been given to Port Adelaide Football Club today as V.I.P Home Services revealed it would sign a deal worth about $1 million; if Port Adelaide football club agreed to take Fevola or Leon Davis in Tuesday's pre-season and rookie drafts.
It's perfect timing for Port Adelaide after losing two of their major sponsors.
V.I.P Home Services started in South Australia and look to keep their roots strongly grounded in Adelaide to help support financially crippled Port Adelaide Football Club with this massive deal.
Tredders from Triple M’s Hot Breakfast, a retired Port Adelaide Premiership Captain, said “it’s great Bill Vis has offered Port a deal believed to be worth a million dollars”.
“Unfortunately the deal is believed to have strings attached, recruiting either Leon Davis or Brendon Fevola. As good a player as they are, neither player fits Port’s direction of recruiting the best young talent".
"Port can’t have their recruiting plans forced by anyone from outside the football department, they must continue to control their own destiny and rebuild for the future."
Should Port take the deal?
