Is this the best death bowler in world cricket?

After the last few days, Bangladesh all-rounder Mahmudullah might have a serious claim.

The 30-year-old has represented his country internationally on over 200 occasions across every format and who scored a ton on Adelaide Oval against England last year.

But his bowling has come to the fore in recent days in the Bangladesh Premier League.

Mahmudullah has been tasked with the last over twice in the country's Twenty20 competition, and both times he's won the match for his Khulna Titans.

On Wednesday, the Rajshahi Kings needed seven off six balls.

Mahmudullah's over went: one run, one leg bye, wide, wicket, wicket, dot ball, wicket.

Last night? A repeat.

The Chittagong Vikings needed six off six, until Mahmudullah bowled an even better over: one run, wicket, dot, wicket, dot, wicket.

That's two three-wicket overs in a week to save his team from defeat.

Unreal.

The way things are going he might have had even better figures had Australia toured Bangladesh as planned earlier in the year.
