The Western Bulldogs head into their qualifying final clash against Collingwood on Saturday night as rank outsiders, but injured Dale Morris tells us how they can pull off an upset.
The Doggies have been ravaged by injury in recent weeks with Adam Cooney (hamstring) and Morris (shoulder) ruled out for the season while Ryan Griffen (knee), Brad Johnson (Achilles), Shaun Higgins (thyroiditis) and Easton Wood (hamstring) are all battling to be fit for the huge clash with the Magpies at the MCG.
These injury woes have ensured the Bulldogs are the biggest underdogs out of all four finals matches this week.
But Morris is keeping the faith ahead of the meeting with table-topping Collingwood and he told Triple M’s Hot Breakfast that, given the Magpies have only lost five first quarters in 2010, the key to victory lies in starting the match with all guns blazing.
“I think against Collingwood especially you need to really come out firing,” Morris said on Thursday morning.
“They’re a team that can really get a jump on you and they’re the in-form team of the competition.”
“They can really demolish teams and really pick them apart so if you’re off five, 10 percent, they’ll smash you.”
What do you think the Bulldogs have to do to pull off the biggest upset of the weekend?

Go hard for 4 quarters and cause an upset. We need the win to be taken seriously again.
