Things got very heated between NSW batsman Dave Warner and Tasmanian bowler Brett Geeves after the Blues beat the Tigers in a Big Bash match. The pair were engaged in a full-on war of tweets, including this bombshell that Warner threw Geeves’ way: ‘u want 2 talk humility u were lucky one player refused to follow up on your racial vilification slur u made on the field’. Cricket Australia said the racial claim in question had been resolved several years ago, but the sport’s governing was far from happy with the duo’s Twitter behaviour.
