Before FM104 got the classic yellow on blue, there were heaps of logos conidered. Check out some of the designs that didn't make it.

We got all the old voices of Triple M and FM104 to come back into the studio and present today's music. Plus share some rippers about FM104 in the early days.
Triple M Brisbane is 28 years old!
That's right. The electricity supply to Brisbane's best music was swithced on 3pm, August 22 1980.

Some facts about Triple M Brisbane:
- The first song played on Triple M was "Cool Change" by LRB.
- The first slogan was "you won't believe your ears!"
- The first format was "contemporary rock"
- The first announcer was Phil Moroney (with the on air team of Dave Bond, Wayne Hunt, Rod Lockington, Colin Moon (Colin Mooney), Bill Riner and 'Mr T' Rod Tiley.)
- The first frequency was 104.1 and this was adjusted to 104.5 on November 5, 1989.
