Mark Latham Gets Touchy-Feely Again Post by: Jimmy A 10 August, 2010 - 10:37 AM
Mark Latham is again stealing the headlines after a riveting interview with Paul Murray on his Sky News show Paul Murray Live.
Speaking this morning, Paul spoke frankly about his impression of Latham after the interview.
"I like him... he has a phenomenal mind, and he is the ultimate insider," Paul said.
The hottest topic during the interview was Latham's run-in with PM Julia Gillard during a door-stop interview on the campaign trail.
In response to the Gillard handshake, Mr Latham said the PM gave him a "patronising, condescending" touch, and called reports of an aggressive confrontation "nonsense".
"The physicality of it was all on her side, and you know, she gave me an answer that was true to form, a non-answer," he said.
When describing his impression of the Gillard run-in, Paul said, "what happened on Saturday was ridiculous... there's little to no defence for confronting the PM."
"[But] it's a massive nonsense for people who've carried on and said he attacked her and intimidated her."
During the interview, the towering Latham even demonstrated his recollection of the incident by getting touchy-feely with Paul. Sexy!

Don Carr says
While I realise that Paul Murray Live is merely an entertainment show, not a serious comment on anything, it is still unbecoming to burble complete nonsense upon an American organisation like the Tea Parties.

Have you yet noticed that all such commentators use the lefty in phrase ' Lowest Common Denominator , to describe what they do not understand.
I don't comment upon the AFL, because I have the grace to know that to me it is fathomless and only use the term ' headless chicken game ' in private.
I commend this practice to you and and most of the Aussie media.
