Who's A Naughty Bear Then? Post by: Dan The Internut 9 March, 2010 - 12:29 PM

He's not cute, cuddly, or happy. And he's coming to a console near you in 2010.

Naughty Bear is a much anticipated game coming out for both XBOX 360 and the PS3. In the game, you are naughty bear, an outcast on an island full of teddy bears who after being rejected from a birthday party for being too "naughty", takes revenge in the most manical way possible. Guns, knives, the works.

Think GTA IV meets Viva Pinata. With more emphasis on the violence of GTA.

It's certainly turning heads. Gamers are loving the humour and juxtaposition of a teddy bear going psycho, whilst family groups (as always), are not happy with the association of violence with what is traditionally a child's favourite toy.

What do you think? Storm in a teacup? Is all this negative publicity just good for the game?

the game is obviously meant for an older more mature audience and if parents buy the game for children it is not meant for then the parents cannot blame the developers for the creation of said game.
If parents don't want kids playing a game that isn't meant for that age group then don't buy it. simple.
