New Green Day Shows
Eddie Ruckus - Rockin' Blogger 2 July, 2009 - 7:41 AM
The first Green Day concerts in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane sold out in about half-an-hour yesterday, forcing promoters to immediately add new shows.
Die-hard fans in every city camped overnight to get their hands on the first 300 very special tickets to each gig that would guarantee a front-row pozzy at the shows. In Sydney, some fans had started lining up at the local box-office on Monday.
Green Day are currently on tour in the US, playing Seattle tomorrow night. That means they've only got another 69 gigs before they play their first Australian show in Perth on December 4.
The new shows added to the Australian tour yesterday:
December 09 : Entertainment Centre, Brisbane
December 12 : Acer Arena, Sydney
December 15 : Rod Laver Arena, Melbourne
Tell us how you went nabbing your Green Day tickets. Did any of you sleep out overnight? How did that go for you?

Got tickets to both concerts and I can't wait. They should play the Roundhouse again. That was the best meeting Tre out the front.
