If you were one of the unlucky Bon Jovi fans to miss out on tickets to their Sydney and Melbourne concerts later this year, cheer up because the American rock giants are giving you a second chance!
Due to popular demand the Jov have announced two final shows in both those cities.
The dates are:
December 10 - Rod Laver Arena, Melbourne
December 19 - Sydney Football Stadium
Promoter Paul Dainty told Triple M's Hot Breakfast: "We tried everything to get a second show at Etihad [in Melbourne] but physically getting 36 trucks of gear up to Brisbane in 48 hours from Melbourne was an impossibility."
"[Bon Jovi] came back to me and said 'we don't care, you find a solution to do a second show'. And as luck would have it the Friday night was available the night at Rod Laver.
"So I told [Bon Jovi] about that and they said 'go for it, we wanna do it'. So they're going to fly into Melbourne a day earlier and free up a whole lot of demand that's out there."
And get this, if you get your hands on tickets to this show, you’ll be able to say you saw Bon Jovi in Melbourne first as it's scheduled for Dec 10!
How good is that?
Promoters say these shows will definitely be the last chance to see Bon Jovi live on this tour.
Tickets for the new shows go on sale on Tuesday August 3.

What fantastic news, wish their first or now 2nd show was at Rod Laver, Etihad not so good for live shows, was so disappointed when I saw George Michel there back in March. Please hope I can get myself some tickets before they sell out.

I have always been a longtime fan of Triple-M and will always continue to be a huge fan simply because of the music that you play, however I am also a major fan of Sammy Hagar, both classic Hagar as well as his two major US bands Chickenfoot and Sammy Hagar and the Waboritas, and would love to hear more of his kick-ass music. Having seen him live on numerous ocassions he is truely a rock legend that deserves more air-play.
Keep up the awsome music selection.

Woo hoo, so excited they are having a second concert in Melbourne.
Hopefully this time all the genuine people who missed out will get tickets instead of these greedy scalpers. Fingers crossed. Thanks Bon Jovi for listening to all your fans.

YESSSSS!!! Thank you thank you thank you, Bon Jovi!!! Please, how can we get these tickets pre-sale?? Even being a member of their fan club on their website doesn't guarantee anything! The day the tickets went on sale for the Dec 11 show, they had already sold out, only the standing ones were left???
