Corey says he decided on a radio career the day he was asked to leave his position as lifeguard for falling asleep on the speed slide (he still maintains it was not bourban on his breath, but rather a cheap cologne purchased by his mum.)
After a few moons of community radio Corey scored a gig in North Queensland working at a rock station, he discovered 2 things:
1. Blonde tips and white shoes are NOT on when hosting any events that involve Miners and/or Cane Farmers
2. He cannot hold down rum
The next stop in Corey's radio journey was Triple M Sydney as mid-dawn jock. He learnt very quickly this was like going from Park footy to the NRL. After a couple years playing well above his weight in the big smoke Corey now finds himself again playing above his weight, but living the dream hanging with his mates, offloading his washing to his mum and back home working for Triple M Brisbane.
Corey is a simple man with simple pleasures........and also he has Queensland's biggest collection of thongs.
