Former Australian Rugby Union great Tim Horan and sporting fanatic and farmer Ben ‘Dobbo’ Dobbin are your Dead Set Legends.
Tim & Dobbo are live every Saturday 9am-12pm talking to some of the biggest names in sport.
Meet The Team:
Having played 119 games for the Queensland Reds and 80 Test Matches for the Wallabies, Tim is an absolute legend when it comes to rugby.
From humble beginnings playing footy at Toowoomba’s Downland’s College, his playmaking ability led him to dual World Cup victories in 1991 and 1999 and, in the same year, Rugby World Cup Player of the Tournament.
Now retired, Tim spends his time actively campaigning for Natalie Medhurst to be put on the cover of Sports Illustrated… and co-hosting Dead Set Legends.
If there’s a fence, Tim is sure to be sitting on it. In saying that, he’s also faced the Haka 23 times in his career, so he isn’t afraid to give Dobbo a good back-hander!
Ben ‘Dobbo’ Dobbin
Dobbo’s a farmer, butcher, auctioneer and all-embracing sports enthusiast who was thrust into the media spotlight following his efforts during the Queensland Floods.
He’s got an absolute heart of gold but, when it comes to footy, he’s “that guy” in the grandstand who screams at the top of his lungs, despite having a mouth full of meat pie… now he’s doing it on air.
As co-host to Dead Set Legends and proud owner of ‘Rangeland Quality Meats’, Dobbo reckons he’s living the dream.
