Why You Should Care About White Ribbon Day

White Ribbon aims to stop domestic violence against women and their safety is everyone’s responsibility.

Something as simple as men talking with their male friends has been proven to be a powerful way to create change.

Di Mangan, CEO of DV Connect crisis support Queensland, joined Marto and Ed for Breakfast this morning to talk White Ribbon Day, the first led male initiative in the world.

“We’ve got a group of women who desperately need us to get them to safety,” Mangan said.

Some ladies have their own financial means or family support, but need to know the starting point to look for protecting themselves and their children.
