Why do we hold on to things in life when we know they wont last or they are not needed?

Spare a thought for Marie Rose's family.

The 62 year was found dead in her Washington home after suffocating under a pile of debris.

Officers reported that old clothes and debris were piled 6 feet high, taking searchers 10 hours to find her body.

  I have the entire James Bons on VHS. Like I can;t even play them as my VHS player succumbed to the trash about 5 years ago

  omg..there is no such thing as clutter...haha..i find it difficult to throw things out..i sill have millions of things that create memories for me...and old watch face..a licence pic from the 90's...my happy birthday australia 1988 fluro singlet that i wore the other day...my first pair of branded boardes...ninja turtle socks..you name it i probs have it...much to my hubbys disgust!!

  I still have a school exercise book from about grade 3, it must have been for creative writing...cuz it has heaps of stories I wrote in there....

  I have all my old school exercise books as they have sentimental value/old school photos/diaries from when I was in high school/old letters from friends

  I've still got my old electric guitar that I bought on Christmas Eve 1975 for $55. These days I play a top of the range Gibson but my heart won't let me get rid of that completely unplayable old relic.
