Intarnational Karate - 1987
Although IK+ is quite a basic game, there is no doubting that the graphics for the era are superb. The game was the second in a series of games to be released for the home console market. IK+ had a notorious cheat/bug where by any time the game was paused when a character was knocked to the floor upon getting back to their feet again they would become invincible.
