Although IK+ is quite a basic game, there is no doubting that the graphics for the era are superb. The game was the second in a series of games to be released for the home console market. IK+ had a notorious cheat/bug where by any time the game was paused when a character was knocked to the floor upon getting back to their feet again they would become invincible.
The player takes the role of one of the three fighters, and the idea is to be the first fighter to reach six points. There is also a bonus game that appears every two rounds. During the bonus rounds the player has to simply punch and kick away balls or bombs.
