Chris Fagan Drops Bombshell On Brisbane's Captaincy
He spoke on Triple M's Dead Set Legends.
Brisbane coach Chris Fagan has opened up on the club's captaincy for 2017, saying it is "up for grabs".
Tom Rockliff's tenure as captain has received plenty of speculation.
But Fagan has confirmed Rockliff has been stripped of the role, and that it is now up in the air.
"The captaincy's up for grabs next year," he said on Triple M's Dead Set Legends.
"We'll run a process over the summer...the players and the coaching staff and other key personnel at the club will identify the leadership group and then decide on who the captain is."
Fagan wouldn't identify exactly who was in contention for the role.
"It's an open book at the moment," he said.
