“It all gets back to what Carlton wants, and what we’re prepared to give”

Mark Ricciuto joined Kenny Cunningham, Dom Cassisi and Tyson Edwards on Dead Set Legends this morning, and naturally Bryce Gibbs was a topic of conversation.

When KG said the other boys didn’t think that Gibbs would add much to Adelaide’s midfield, Roo had opinions of his own.

“I think he’d definitely add something to our midfield, he’s a classy player,” Roo said.

“I think he’d improve at our club in a good side and in a good environment, just like Eddie Betts did when he come over.”

Ricciuto said that the Crows won’t be giving up more than they have to for Gibbs though.

“It all gets back to what Carlton wants, and what we’re prepared to give,” Roo said.

“We’re certainly not gonna give away… sell the farm for him, it’s gotta be a fair deal, and if that can happen I think will get done.

“We’ve certainly got enough good talent that’s gonna improve on our list.”

Roo suggested it would be unlikely that any of the Crows really big names would be moving east.

When asked if Crouch, McGovern or Lever would be part of a trade, he said it was unlikely.

“I wouldn’t have thought [they’re going anywhere],” he said.
