Collingwood have now become equal premiership favourite next to St.Kilda and Geelong. The previously stong hold of the Saints and Cats has slipped away over recent weeks and both teams suffered a Round 21 loss.

It will now become a real 'us against them' mentality for fans whose teams won't be participating in the September action. There is no avoiding that supporters will want any team to win, except Collingwood.

They really seemed to have all engines firing at the right time of the season with Dane Swan firming as a real contender for the Brownlow.

Despite beating the Swans, Collingwood coach Mick Malthouse said the team played really flat.

  greatest club in the afl deserves the flag,without collingwood there is no afl,we are the draw power and every club needs to make money by playing us,hot pies!

  Iwas there at the 1990 grand final when the mighty woods got up and won and I would dearly love it if they could do it again so my children can witness the excitment that come with your team taking out the big one. Go Pies!!!!!

  Please anyone BUT Geelong. I live here but dont barrack for them, this town is feral & needs to be shot down. Idiots driving around with flags & posters hanging off their cars, the whole town is blue & white. Most of them just jump on in September then crawl off when its over. Last year is a perfect example only 2500 people turned up after the Grand Final loss..fairweather supporters!!! Go Pies, Saints or Dogs! I DONT CARE
