Hawthorn Premiership Player Blasts Double Ton For Local Cricket Club
Former Hawthorn premiership player Rick Ladson has had a field day for Sedgwick Cricket Club, blasting a massive double century.
Ladson, who is captain/coach of the Sedgwick firsts, came in at number seven with his club in a little strife at 5/63 chasing Marong's first innings score of 170 last weekend.
When he left, Sedgwick, who play in the Emu Valley Cricket Association, had more than turned things around.
Ladson blasted 233 not out for his club in a knock that contained 21 fours and 15 sixes.
He first piled it on with teammate Dustin Elliott (108) in a 217-run partnership, then made most of the 144-run stand with Jordan Ilsley (20*).
It's the fourth time Ladson has tonned up for Sedgwick, but this is by far the biggest knock yet.
