Mark Webber Wins 2012 Monaco Grand Prix

Mark Webber has become the first Australian to win the Monaco Formula One Grand Prix twice, beating home Nico Rosberg on Sunday night (AEST) to win the 2012 event.

Mark Webber has become the first Australian to win the Monaco Formula One Grand Prix twice, beating home Nico Rosberg on Sunday night (AEST).

Webber led from start to finish in his Red Bull, finishing less than a second ahead of Mercedes' Rosberg and Ferrari's Fernando Alonso.

Sebastian Vettel was fourth in the second Red Bull, followed by McLaren's Lewis Hamilton and Ferrari's Felipe Massa.

Alonso (76 points) maintains the lead in the Drivers' Championship but Webber (73 points) has now moved to equal second alongside Red Bull team-mate, Vettel.
