While the Bingle fiasco still simmers away, Fev has back peddaled on his comments about 'feral' Carlton supporters and in doing so has joined Triple M's Boot In Mouth.

In a strange move he texted Eddie McGuire while he was doing the Hot Breakfast show on Triple M. Fev told Eddie he was more upset about this than he was about the Lara Bingle photo.

Referring to the 'feral' comments, Fevola wrote: "It was at a supporters dinner, it was just a few throwaway lines to the new supporters. I still have great mates at the club and friendships and a lot of supporters."

He regretted his remarks about the Blues and said that he still loved the club. Have a listen to Ed reading some of the text on air.

Should Fev just keep his mouth shut?

  Unfortunately 'Fev' is a 12 year old boy in a man's body. Will he ever grow up? Once he finishes football, no-one, absolutely no-one will care about him or want anything to do with him. He is a regular offender in immature antics and I think most people are sick of him

  michael clarke now has the oppurtunity to become the australian captain,with no more of that excess baggage hanging around him,it was only a matter of time before the break up came,anything with fevola in the picture is bad news?

  well ther are a lot of people who has to grow up in the world and should be ashame of themselves by running Fev down if he did what the media says he did then take a good hard look at Wayne Carey and we all forgave him so lets forgive the Fev and let him do what he does best play Football
