We're use to seeing records breaking on the track but not this kind of record.

French athlete Mekhissi-Benabbad, has landed himself in trouble after flipping out and shoving a teenage mascot.

And it's more unbelievable when the 27 year-old had just won, yes WON, the 300m steeplechase at the European championships in Helsinki.

It's not the first time the Frenchman has been reprimanded. In 2011 the athlete was involved in a fight with a fellow runner and in 2010 shoved another mascot.

We're thinking he should swap sports and compete in boxing instead???

Talk about landing yourself in deep water [see what we did there??!) ahead of the London games.
