A woman who bought a plant at a car boot sale for £1 has sold the pot for more than £32,000.
The unnamed owner took the glass container onto UK TV show 'Antiques Roadshow' for it to be valued and was gobsmacked to discover how valuable it was.
She had originally planned to throw it away before deciding to seek expert advice.
She said: "We were clearing out the loft and it was in there. We bought it for the plant because it looked nice in the bowl and we paid a pound."
Show veteran Eric Knowles - who valued the piece at £25,000 - said: "I've been waiting over 25 years for such a piece to come in, and this was the stuff of dreams.
The antique sold at auction in London for £32,450.
