Sign of the crimes

January 1, 2009

A teenage graffiti artist has been forced to wear a sandwich board declaring his crime.

Dennis Baltimore Jr. was made to walk the streets of Long Beach, California wearing the sign for five hours by his angry father.

It read: "I am a juvenile delinquent who should be punished. I have wasted your tax money with dumb acts of vandalism in the public schools."

The 16-year-old had vandalised his school with a picture of a fictitious gang member, which cost £570 worth of damage.

His father said: "He's a good son, he just made a bad decision and he has to pay for it. I'm doing what I have to do to make him a man. That's my job."

Dennis Jr. added: "Right now I feel dumb and I regret everything I've done."

Weird Video of the Week

Like Boxing Day here in Australia, the day after Thanksgiving is shopping day! Except this poor girl enjoyed herself a bit too much the night before.
