The Grill Team's Mark Geyer and Matty Johns revealed to their audience on Wednesday what they got paid to play State Of Origin.
The pair went public after calls have been made by the NRL Players’ Association for players to earn $50,000 per Origin game they play in.
Matty Johns says it makes the players look 'greedy'.
"I don't like the look of players asking for a 150% payrise," said Matty Johns, before adding that the head of the NRLPA, David Garnsey, went missing during the Gold Coast Titans contract controversy.
MG agreed and said $20,000, the current State Of Origin player payment figure, is good money and agreed the players are getting greedy asking for such a sharp increase.
