Todd Kelly is jumping out of a Holden and jumping into a Nissan not this year but next year.
"Traditionally it's been Holden versus Ford and for a period there Nissan got on board and wiped the floor with both," Eddie McGuire said.
"Going back years ago to Bathurst when Jim Richards won with Skaifey in the Nissan Skyline, the response when he received the trophy from the crowd wasn't too flash to say the least." (you can hear the response from Jim in the audio below)
Todd Kelly joined Triple M Melbourne's The Hot Breakfast for an interview this morning, you can hear the full interview here:
"This will be my fifteenth year as a loyal Holden driver so it wasn't something that I took lightly," Todd Kelly said.
"We want to win races just the same as everyone else and for us to be on a level playing field we need to be with a factory team and get factory support."
