He was also charged with striking in the same match and offered a one-match ban for that incident.

UPDATE: Melbourne forward Liam Jurrah is reportedly facing four additional charges in the Northern Territory.
Reports say that after a court appearance via video ink on Thursday, Jurrah has been charged with aggravated assault against four different people.
Jurrah will now be required to return to the Northern Territory for a three-day hearing in July where the Melbourne forward will face a total of six charges.
EARLIER: AFL star Liam Jurrah is preparing to face court in Alice Springs today over claims he attacked a man with a machete.
He's due to appear before the magistrates court at noon (CST) over allegations he took part in an attack on a 35-year-old man at the Little Sisters Town Camp at Yuendumu.
The AFL star, who plays for the Melbourne Demons, is an elder of the Warlpiri people, who live in Yuendumu.
"This will never end until Liam Jurrah confronts Basil Jurrah and the payback occurs, now that would either occur through a spear through the leg or a repeat of the alleged incident that is said to have taken place," reporter Lachlan Wills told the Hot Breakfast this morning.
"So it's basically a civil war between the tribes at the moment out there, is that right?" Eddie asked.
"It absolutely is. It's divided into two geographical groups the Wests and the Souths," Lachlan responded.
"Those two groups have been fighting, Murray said look every day they wake up, they fight. They go to bed, they wake up, they fight."
"It's simply not safe enough to be out there. The community has been deteriorating in numbers it was about 800 now it's down to 500 or so. People are fleeing to Adelaide, Alice Springs, they're getting out of there because it's simply too dangerous."

"Have great fun. Turn it into something sensational."
"Do all the things you can't do during the finals when everyone's getting charged a fortune."

Fremantle's Greg Broughton is the latest player to escape penalty for injuring an opponent with a slide after successfully challenging a rough conduct charge at the AFL Tribunal on Tuesday.
