Matthew Broderick has stepped back into the shoes of his most famous character, Ferris Bueller for his new Superbowl ad, which was released early on the interwebs overnight.

Broderick (or a much older Ferris Bueller) revisits all the classic scenes of the well-loved cult 80's film to promote the new Honda CR-V. Instead of wagging school, the bloke is now chucking a sickie from work, and going to the fair, a Chinese New Year parade, riding a rollercoaster and more.

Though it would be cooler if what he got up to was a bit more adult and dangerous, we can't help but go back in time with this one.
