Powderfinger Biography
Blending anthemic rock with million-dollar choruses, knockabout charm with a political consciousness, the mighty 'Finger have become one of this country's most successful and respected bands.
Kicking off in the early '90s as a flannel-wearing covers band, they broke through with their second album, 1996's Double Allergic. They haven't looked back since. Their third record, 1998's Internationalist, earnt them four ARIAs, followed by Odyssey Number Five (five ARIAs) in 2000 and Vulture Street (four, including Best Group) in 2003.
This year, they released their sixth studio album, Dream Days at the Hotel Existence, which debuted at #1 and proved that Powderfinger can indeed do no wrong.
