Bon Jovi Start World Tour
Eddie Ruckus 8 February, 2010 - 7:15 AM
Alright, Jovi fans – it’s on.
Bon Jovi kick off the Circle World Tour in Hawaii this Thursday. After the opening night, it’ll be only 134 shows in 30 countries to go.
The Jov will be on the road until August 2011 and, as Mr Jon Bon Jovi himself has already promised us, this will include the band’s most extensive Australian tour ever.
Richie Sambora also revealed over the weekend that the band are planning some surprises at different shows.
“We might do Slippery When Wet in its entirety, or Lost Highway in its entirety,” said Sambora. “I'm sure we’ll do The Circle in its entirety a few times on this tour, because we’re really proud of this record. We’re going to be doing a lot of different stuff.
“To keep ourselves interested and happy we’re going to be picking songs from different records and intersect them into the set as time goes on. We try to give the crowd the songs they want to hear, obviously.
“We’re gonna go back and play stuff that we haven’t played in 20 years. Stuff off the first album, stuff off the second album that we haven’t played in God knows how long. So it’s gonna be a lot of fun.”
Sambora also revealed that the band has a greatest hits set ready to go, which includes three new songs, but they might wait until as late as next year to release it.
Which album would you most love to hear Bon Jovi play live in its entirety?

If they're going to be doing stadiums and not indoor arenas I can't see it being that extensive of a tour, they will just do one stadium show in each city, syd, melb, bris, perth and adelaide if lucky, which would make it just one or maybe two more shows then the last tour..
