Def Leppard 2011 Australian Tour Confirmed For October With Guests Heart Post by: The Learned One 25 May, 2011 - 1:00 PM

Triple M music reporter Nui Te Koha told The Hot Breakfast on Wednesday that British rock legends Def Leppard will be touring Australia in October.
Nui said the "deal is done" and they’ll be touring here with American rockers Heart.
Since Nui mooted the possibility of a Def Leppard 2011 tour on The Hot Breakfast last week, reaction to the news on the Triple M Rock facebook page has been phenomenal.
No less than 75 people have liked the news so far and fans have expressed their sheer delight at the impending tour.
Marc Rafter said: “OH YEAH :) Def Leppard Rocked Australia in 2008 :) Can't wait for Mirrorball and the new tour :) WooHOOO!”
And Dom Mulcahy couldn’t hide his excitement either, saying: “Awesome can't wait to see these legends again, greatest rock band on earth YEAH!!”

This should be a great double especially with Heart supporting. Ann Wilson is STILL in fine voice. Def Leppard will be a great gig to see too.
